Lake County Bar Association Publishes Judicial Evaluations
The Lake County Bar Association has completed an evaluation process for candidates for Judge of the Circuit Court. Candidates were evaluated through the Association's Judicial Selection and Retention Committee.
After interviewing each candidate, the Committee votes unanimously with each member choosing one of three rankings: highly recommended, recommended or not recommended.
The Committee evaluated the following candidates for the elected office of Circuit Judge and released these results:
19th Judicial Circuit - 6th Sub-circuit
Michael J. Perillo - Highly Recommended
Jorge Ortiz - Recommended
The LCBA's bylaws do not provide for the Association to make endorsements regarding judicial candidates or judicial re-appointments.
